Fundraiser for Blake!
Blake B, who has Autism, suffered a tragic accident on Sunday 05-09-21 where he passed away. We are helping gather funds for burial expenses since his family has extremely limited resources. Blake would have been 5 years old next month.
Blake was one of our Special Needs students at the Riverside Youth Judo Club which is a nonprofit Police Activities League through the Riverside Police Officers Association and the Riverside Police Foundation. Blake was doing so well and making outstanding progress. This is terribly heartbreaking to us all, but none more than his family.
The Riverside Youth Judo Club, P.A.L. has the largest group of Special Needs judo students in the U.S. and students like Blake are absolute treasures to us. We use Judo and trained therapists on the mat to help kids like Blake adapt to a very tough world. Please help Blake’s family if you can so they can honor him as we all would with our own families.

RPOA President's Note
The Riverside Police Officers' Association (RPOA) has supported the Judo Club since it's first student entered the program. They have done incredible work with local youth, specifically with Special Needs Athletes and at risk youth.
EVERY DOLLAR raised through the RPOA.org website will go to Blake's family to assist with funeral expenses and other needs for the family. Blake was an only child and we would like to make sure she is given the opportunity to honor Blake's memory as she sees fit.
I've seen what incredible things we can do as a group when it comes to tragedy. I'm asking you to join the RPOA and help the family and they navigate the heartbreak of losing a child.
